Testers wanted for alpha version
A new version of Phonelocator was demoed at MWC in Barcelona back in February. It has some new features:
- Trigger updates remotly using SMS messages
- Automaticlly SMS a buddy when the SIM card is changed
- Remote settings modification via website
- Wifi / Cell ID locaiton
- Improved registration
Rather than recording a trail of where the phone has been, the new version periodically sends the location of the phone to the server. This reduces the effect of Phonelocator on the phone’s battery life.
